Along the Georgia-Florida Coast

The National Park Service has kindly provided several trip itineraries for RVers and other travelers for a nominal cost ($5). The five itineraries available are:

  • Along the Georgia-Florida Coast
  • South and West Texas
  • American Southwest
  • Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands
  • Early History of the California Coast

The Along the Georgia-Florida Coast itinerary details 51 historic places associated with encounters between Europeans and native peoples, the Spanish and British occupation, pioneer settlements, plantation agriculture based on African slavery, African American culture, and tourism. The tour begins in Savannah, Ga., and follows the Atlantic coast to the southern-most point of Florida, Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas

Copies of the Travel Itineraries are available from the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers for $5 each. Send a check to NCSHPO, 444 North Capitol NW, Suite 342, Washington, DC 20001. Copy the form below and include it with your check.
