We recently spent two nights at the KOA in Forsyth, Georgia. For our 32- foot RV with 30 amp, water and sewage with three people, we paid $33 per night. To be fair, I should let you know of my prejudices, one negative and one positive. I am not a big fan of KOA in general, finding them to be expensive for what you get. However, on the plus side, this KOA was kind enough to allow us to leave a vehicle without charge for several days between stays.
Let me begin with the most positive aspect of the Forsyth KOA. The people were very kind and friendly. They even sent homemade chocolate chip cookies to the site one night. I've never had that service before. The cookies were very good.
There are 150 total sites at this campground, some monthly. There is also a tenting area. The older part is shaded, but for those of us with satellite receivers, the newer section in back is free of shade. For an extra charge, cable sites are available. The roads are paved, but in the older section, they are in need of repaving and widening. Unless you need shade, I suggest requesting a site in the newer section. The RV sites are gravel. Our site was sufficiently level that no additional leveling was required.
The restrooms I checked out were warm and clean. In the back, there is also a large building used for a variety of rallies.
Unfortunately, this KOA charges for Wi-Fi, although the connection in the back section was very good. They accept pets, and there was ample space for us to walk the dog. There is also a dog walk across the street near the older part of the campground.
The campground has propane for sale and a store in the front building. There are some cabins for rent and a small catch and release lake, if you like to fish. There is also a pool and playground area.
This KOA is located at 414 South Frontage Rd., Forsyth, GA 31029.
